Okay... You may notice in the pic... I have become one of them. Yes, that's right I (pause for dramatic effect) I went Bluetooth.
You know who we are... Random people, one of the crazies on the bus talking to invisible aliens... No, wait. What's that blinking blue light on his ear... Oh. He's just too lazy to hold the phone. I suppose he's sane enough.
It started innocently enough... I scoffed the bluetoothers... I despised their sneaky converstional ways...
Then... Oh... Then it happened. I switched to Sprint in a basement apt. I wanted the Centro... I'm a gadget junkie! (sobs)
Wow! My phone is amazing, but why do my calls fade in my apt? How do I live like this?
I know... I'm weak, but maybe you've experienced dropped calls... You know the shame of calling back during a great tangent run-on, your momentum lost. Perhaps you, peer, know from whence I came...
How sneaky it tempts... 'What if you could leave the phone in that window where you download email all the time. Then you could talk...' 'Think of the comfort of lying on your bed, talking on that great phone, worry-free.'
I listened, the signal faded, the call dropped again, but I heard the promise of the bluetooth...
God, give me the strength to take it off in public...
